Public Safety Committee established by Town of Lincoln, Mass., during World War II years to oversee local civil defense and other war related matters, including the establishment of lists of volunteers, wardens, rationing personnel, and related war activities on the local level. Collection comprises documents relating to World War II civil defense activities in Lincoln, including bulletins of Massachusetts Committee on Public Safety, bulletins of the local committee, lists of air raid and blackout wardens, information concerning rationing and black market activities, and other materials.
